The larger amount of auto loan finance companies that offer bad credit or no credit auto loans is because of the failing economy. People that had stellar credit, found themselves unemployed and unable to pay their bills any longer. Some even lost their houses, had vehicles repossessed, and ended up in bankruptcy. The need for financing for people in these situations grew, and became more commonplace than it had in previous years.
